Starflare - Terms of Service & Service Level Agreement (SLA)
By using services provided by Starflare (“we”, “us”, “our”), customers (“you”, “your”) agree to follow the terms and conditions outlined in this document. If you do not agree, you must discontinue using our services.
1. Scope of Services
Starflare provides cloud and datacenter infrastructure solutions, which may include:
- Bare Metal
- Cloud Server (VPS)
- Storage Cloud Solutions
- Network Firewall & DDoS Mitigation
- BGP Peering Services
- Server Colocation
Customers can manage their services through our management panel at: https://starflare.cloud/dashboard
2. Service Availability
- Our infrastructure is designed to operate 24/7.
- Scheduled maintenance may occur and will be announced in advance via our Facebook Page or Email.
- Network uptime commitment: 99.9% monthly, excluding:
- Natural disasters
- Upstream provider outages
- Events outside our reasonable control
- Scheduled maintenance notices
In the event of hardware failure, Starflare will replace or repair affected hardware as soon as possible. Temporary replacement hardware may be provided.
3. Support Availability
Support Channels:
Support Includes:
- Hardware diagnostics and replacement
- Server reboot, shutdown, boot assistance
- Basic technical guidance related to networking and server environment
Support Does Not Include:
- Internal software installation
- Application configuration, debugging, or scripting
- Data backup or recovery inside your server
4. Customer Data & Privacy
Starflare does not access, view, copy, or monitor data stored on customer servers unless:
- The customer explicitly requests assistance, and
- Temporary access credentials are voluntarily provided by the customer.
Customers are fully responsible for:
- The data they store
- Security of their accounts and passwords
- Backup of their own data
Starflare does not provide internal server data backup unless the customer purchases a backup service.
5. Data Backup Responsibility
Customers must maintain their own backups. Starflare is not responsible for data loss caused by:
- Disk or hardware failure
- Customer mistake
- Misconfiguration
- Software malfunction
- Malicious activity
6. Software Licensing Responsibility
Starflare provides operating systems such as Linux distributions or other open-source systems by default. If using commercial software (e.g., Windows Server, cPanel, DirectAdmin, etc.), the customer is responsible for obtaining proper licensing. Starflare does not install or configure third-party software except when purchased with licensing through us.
7. Prohibited Use Policy
The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate service suspension or termination without refund:
- Hosting, sharing, or distributing copyrighted material without authorization
- Hosting malware, botnets, or running malicious network scans
- Launching DDoS attacks or attempting unauthorized access to any system
- Running open proxies, VPN gateways for anonymity abuses, or spam services
- Activities promoting violence, exploitation, or illegal substances
- Any actions causing network degradation or security threats to other users or the public network
Customers are responsible for any damages caused by misuse.
8. Liability Limitation
Starflare is not liable for:
- Data loss
- Loss of revenue or business interruption
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
The customer agrees that service is provided “as-is” within reasonable operational standards.
9. Service Termination
Starflare may suspend or terminate service if:
- Payment is overdue
- The customer violates the Prohibited Use Policy
- The service poses security or legal risk
No refunds are provided for termination due to policy violations.
Privacy Policy
We collect information necessary to provide service, such as:
- Name / Company Name
- Email Address
- Contact Information
- Billing Information
- Technical logs required for system operation
We use collected information only to:
- Provide and maintain services
- Manage customer accounts
- Prevent fraud and security threats
- Respond to support inquiries
We do not sell or share personal data with third parties except when legally required.
